Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filipp Pereletov started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, David Kondrikov made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alay City's Petr Belenko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, one of Alay City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alay City. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Westcliff on Sea. Valentin Lepihin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petr Belenko. 0-2. After having played for 14 minutes, David Kondrikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westcliff on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Kondrikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipp Pereletov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Belenko having to make a save. Petr Belenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Pereletov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Anatoliy Razbash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Kondrikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Belenko having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Alay City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Konovalov to maneuver through the defense. Anatoliy Razbash's late challenge caught a Westcliff on Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anatoliy Razbash helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Alay City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Razbash to maneuver through the defense. Filipp Pereletov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Alay City got a freekick which was hit by Ippolit Garipov. Petr Belenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Pereletov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Alay City's zone, David Kondrikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Belenko came out of the goal and David Kondrikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alay City's Petr Belenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Akim in the 46th minute of play. The Alay City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Westcliff on Sea were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolf Galtsev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Irakliy Ozhogin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vsevolod Brovchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A hard shot 63 in the game by David Kondrikov from a close distance when the talented Petr Belenko managed to make a qualified save. Alay City's players were relieved. David Kondrikov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Petr Belenko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th minute Rudolf Galtsev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irakliy Ozhogin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipp Pereletov in the 69th minute of play forced Alay City's goalkeeper Petr Belenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Westcliff on Sea booed when Alay City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatoliy Razbash didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Valentin Lepihin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Belenko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. David Kondrikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Belenko having to interfere. When Ippolit Garipov fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alay City's protests and gave Ippolit Garipov a yellow card for diving instead. Ippolit Garipov hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipp Pereletov in the 86th minute of play forced Alay City's goalkeeper Petr Belenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Kondrikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petr Belenko was a little too slow when Filipp Pereletov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alay City! When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Westcliff on Sea's Valentin Lepihin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Petr Belenko. Alay City's Petr Belenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Alay City from getting a goal against them. In the 103rd minute, David Kondrikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
