Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evgeniy Minkov got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Shenley United's goal looked a bit too open when Genrikh Moskvin came free, but Mark Simonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes, Semen Lapshin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shenley United and the Oxford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Oxford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Evgeniy Minkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oxford FC's Gleb Shvetsov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shenley United's Mark Simonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afanasiy Loginov in the 18th minute of play. If Afanasiy Loginov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genrikh Moskvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Simonov having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Evgeniy Minkov took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gleb Shvetsov to make any attempt to save it. Genrikh Moskvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mark Simonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Valeriy Malyugin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shenley United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oxford FC the free kick. When Afanasiy Loginov came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Oxford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afanasiy Loginov couldn't finish the play. After having played for 38 minutes, Evgeniy Minkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shenley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evgeniy Minkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evgeniy Minkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Genrikh Moskvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Genrikh Moskvin made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Oxford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedot Belousov to maneuver through the defense. Anton Boyarinov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gleb Shvetsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damir Asatiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evgeniy Minkov in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gleb Shvetsov saved Oxford FC from getting behind. Afanasiy Loginov kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mark Simonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genrikh Moskvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afanasiy Loginov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Simonov having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Oxford FC's Genrikh Moskvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Simonov narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
