Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Hagi in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Kononov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Oltean kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Kononov. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Denholme City's goalkeeper Igor Kononov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Oltean. The Galatasaray SK fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Cristiano Hagi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Kononov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray SK's Eric Oltean slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Kononov. That made the score 4-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute, Dmitriy Magonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eric Oltean came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Oltean couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Hagi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Kononov saved Denholme City from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Cristiano Hagi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Kononov. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cristiano Hagi put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Kononov. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stepan Tsypkin made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Hagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Kononov having to interfere. With a left leg Igor Kononov saved Denholme City from getting behind. Anders Målare took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Kononov. Igor Kononov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After 64 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Kononov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denholme City's Igor Kononov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Hagi in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Anders Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 minutes, Cristiano Hagi made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denholme City's Igor Kononov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Galatasaray SK fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eric Oltean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Galatasaray SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valeriy Chernetsov in the 85th minute. Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Kononov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Frank Zijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Cristiano Hagi in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Igor Kononov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Hagi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When Timur Beluhin fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denholme City's protests and gave Timur Beluhin a yellow card for diving instead. Timur Beluhin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Galatasaray SK were the better team. Galatasaray SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
