In the 9th match minute, Rotor Biskek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Gol to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Artemev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Lebedev in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Gabriel Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osh 1967 were furious when Gleb Kaletin was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osh 1967 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gabriel Gol made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Artemev having to make a save. Lev Artemev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
