Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eric Oltean scored 7-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolay Sergeev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Hagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nikolay Sergeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
