Lev Petuhov hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Pavel Butovskiy struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Igor Kononov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osh 1967. In the 27thth minute of the game Pavel Butovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denholme City's Igor Kononov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Dorozhkin in the 28th minute of play forced Denholme City's goalkeeper Igor Kononov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Boris Dorozhkin sped through Denholme City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Igor Kononov. Pavel Butovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Kononov having to make a save. Osh 1967's Lev Artemev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Osh 1967 from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Timur Beluhin's late challenge caught a Osh 1967's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timur Beluhin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Osh 1967 booed when Denholme City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Beluhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stepan Tsypkin fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Denholme City's supporters rose to their feet, but Stepan Tsypkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Artemev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Roman Blizhin notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Osh 1967's Lev Artemev. Lev Artemev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Denholme City's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Dorozhkin came free, but Igor Kononov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Artemev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Tsypkin in the 95th minute of the match.
