After 28 minutes, Damon Weeks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheringham and the Howden AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damon Weeks hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Edward Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Marcus Rush successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sheringham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howden AFC the free kick. With a little luck, Sheringham's Marcus Rush got control of the ball when Edward Huxtable tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Lloyd Tyrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Rush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keith Abbotts kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Woods made a kick off. Howard Bass charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Howard Bass the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Rush dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Howden AFC's Edward Huxtable got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lloyd Tyrell struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Marcus Rush didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howden AFC. Edward Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Sheringham got a freekick which was hit by Keith Abbotts. Edward Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Howden AFC's Lloyd Tyrell got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Lloyd Tyrell made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Rush. Sheringham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
