After 3 played minutes Hunstanton City got a freekick which was hit by Louis Ansell. 8 minutes into the match, Tettenhall United's goal looked a bit too open when Vinnie Everett came free, but Robin Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ty Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tettenhall United's Nigel Cawood got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hunstanton City's Ty Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Fox in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregory Fox in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ty Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zak Locke fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tettenhall United's protests and gave Zak Locke a yellow card for diving instead. Zak Locke kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sol Alsford kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Gregory Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ty Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Ansell kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hunstanton City's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Cawood came free, but Ty Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nigel Cawood was the one to do the kick off. Louis Ansell hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Gregory Fox took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ty Price. Ty Price dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gregory Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Nigel Cawood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ty Price was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A collision led to Tettenhall United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Syd Holden hit a great ball. Ty Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Cawood, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nigel Cawood sped through Hunstanton City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ty Price. Vinnie Everett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Pitts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Vinnie Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Cawood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tettenhall United's Gregory Fox got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Cawood in the 93rd minute of play forced Hunstanton City's goalkeeper Ty Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Fox blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ty Price having to make a save. Tettenhall United played a much better game than Hunstanton City and deserved their victory. The Hunstanton City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
