When Cody Dove fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞ FC's protests and gave Cody Dove a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Joshua Faith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute John Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Aldridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matt McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lennie Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Watson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Argent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bob Aldridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Karl Argent made the kick off in the second half. Matt McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Sheerness FC's Karl Argent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennie Brewer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lennie Brewer came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheerness FC's Alfred Broadhurst. But to his dismay, Alfred Broadhurst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lennie Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Faith in the 75th minute of play. Theo Spacey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lennie Brewer. BEŞİKTAŞ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lennie Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Argent in the 79th minute of play. With an all-out effort, BEŞİKTAŞ FC's Bob Aldridge threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John Watson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 82 minutes, Joshua Faith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Faith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Broadhurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennie Brewer having to interfere. Karl Argent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lennie Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennie Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Broadhurst in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Matt McCormick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lennie Brewer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sheerness FC fully deserved thier win.
