After a defensive mix-up in Hunstanton City's zone, Alfred Broadhurst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ty Price came out of the goal and Alfred Broadhurst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Matt McCormick made a precise shot to the right of Ty Price. Hunstanton City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ty Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Argent's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With his leg Bob Aldridge managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Hunstanton City's Joseph Hudson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the game, Matthew Clapham threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sheerness FC's Matt McCormick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ty Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Broadhurst in the 21st minute of the match. If Joseph Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Sheerness FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt McCormick to maneuver through the defense. Sol Alsford's shot from long distance in the 32nd minute was not bad at all, but Sheerness FC's Bob Aldridge knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Sol Alsford kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Matt McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ty Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hunstanton City's goalkeeper Ty Price, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl Argent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ty Price having to make a save. Alfred Broadhurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Price having to interfere. Ty Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Argent's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinnie Everett made a kick off. Karl Argent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Matt McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt McCormick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sheerness FC's Karl Argent got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Hunstanton City's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Broadhurst came free, but Ty Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Hunstanton City's goalkeeper Ty Price had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joshua Faith. Hunstanton City's Ty Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt McCormick in the 69th minute of play. Karl Argent kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Bob Aldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hudson in the 78th minute of the match. Karl Argent who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ty Price when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 84 minutes, Matt McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt McCormick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Karl Argent came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sheerness FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Argent couldn't finish the play. After having played for 87 minutes, Matt McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt McCormick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hunstanton City's Ty Price got control of the ball when Karl Argent tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Joseph Hudson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bob Aldridge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joshua Faith struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ty Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheerness FC. When the match was over Sheerness FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hunstanton City throughout the match.
