Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tristan Southgate kicked off to start the match. In the 20th minute Tristan Southgate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Uffington's Tristan Southgate made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greg Paine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wally Ellershaw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alastair Hartley having to make a save. Walmley AFC's Greg Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Southgate in the 29th minute of play. Darren Pennant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. If Tristan Southgate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tristan Southgate came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Uffington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Southgate couldn't finish the play. Greg Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristan Southgate, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Darren Pennant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Southgate in the 44th minute of play forced Walmley AFC's goalkeeper Greg Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Southgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Greg Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Greg Paine was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tristan Southgate showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Tristan Southgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Greg Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Bridgeworth hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Tristan Southgate made a precise shot to the right of Greg Paine. Walmley AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After having played for 76 minutes, Tristan Southgate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uffington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Southgate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darren Pennant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Greg Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uffington's Tristan Southgate in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walmley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st match minute, Uffington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Browning to maneuver through the defense. Walmley AFC's John Pollard got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uffington's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
