The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Southeast Coast FC's Max Linkletter in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castletown's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Castletown's goalkeeper Vincent Frampton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Beasley. After 16 minutes, Roy Wellings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southeast Coast FC and the Castletown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Southeast Coast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Wellings to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Castletown's goal looked a bit too open when Max Linkletter came free, but Vincent Frampton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Max Linkletter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Frampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Castletown getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jordan Easton hit a great ball. During the 28th minute of the match Roy Wellings completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Roy Wellings a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Joseph Bannister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Hampton in the 34th minute of the match. Jeremy Hampton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Castletown's Ricky Oldham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Bannister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricky Oldham to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Southeast Coast FC's CJ Beverley got a free kick in the 57th minute. Castletown made a substitution. Andrew Howard replaced Ricky Oldham. CJ Beverley hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Andrew Howard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Joseph Bannister made a huge save. Miles Chiverton's late challenge caught a Southeast Coast FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miles Chiverton helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Castletown got a freekick which was hit by Miles Chiverton. Joseph Bannister made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Howard in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Castletown defense, CJ Beverley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Frampton. The Castletown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Frampton should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Hampton kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Tommy Winstanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Southeast Coast FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
