Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tommy Byfield made the kick off which started today's match. Howden's Will Glasby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Tipton in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Bennett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Will Glasby was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the game, Marc Crowther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Howden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maradona FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Marc Crowther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Will Glasby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Bennett, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Howden's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Atkinson came free, but Will Glasby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Tommy Byfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Hicks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Maradona FC's goalkeeper Jonny Hicks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deon Blakeley. Samuel Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Glasby having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Tommy Byfield fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Deon Blakeley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonny Hicks made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Maradona FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Moyse. Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Maradona FC from getting a goal against them. Samuel Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Glasby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Atkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Will Glasby came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Maradona FC's Walter Atkinson. But to his dismay, Walter Atkinson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Deon Blakeley notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks. Jonny Hicks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Walter Atkinson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Will Glasby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maradona FC. Samuel Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Will Glasby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Maradona FC booed when Howden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Crowther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Ron Tipton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maradona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howden the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maradona FC's Ron Tipton got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tommy Byfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Byfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Hicks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Howden's goalkeeper Will Glasby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bennett. Will Glasby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Atkinson in the 85th minute of the match. If Deon Blakeley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Atkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Glasby having to interfere. Alistair Brown charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alistair Brown the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alistair Brown hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Maradona FC's Jonny Hicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Byfield in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Howden's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Atkinson came free, but Will Glasby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Maradona FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maradona FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
