Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stephen Partridge started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Stalybridge United's Gus Westerby was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Ludlow FC booed when Stalybridge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Cheeseman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sidney Freeman came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Stalybridge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Freeman couldn't finish the play. Gus Westerbys short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Spike Collier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Stalybridge United fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Stalybridge United's Gus Westerby looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Franz Osborn kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Ludlow FC's Spike Collier got control of the ball when Gus Westerby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damon Moyse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damion Lonsdale having to make a save. In the 48th minute, Stephen Partridge made a precise shot to the right of Damion Lonsdale. Stalybridge United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gus Westerby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Callum Black in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spike Collier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stalybridge United's Deon Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ludlow FC's zone, Callum Black stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spike Collier came out of the goal and Callum Black tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Damon Moyse notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Stalybridge United's Damion Lonsdale. Damion Lonsdale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ludlow FC booed when Stalybridge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rich Gunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Damon Moyse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damion Lonsdale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 76 minutes into the match, Deon Porter notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ludlow FC's Spike Collier. Spike Collier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Callum Black made a precise shot to the right of Spike Collier. Ludlow FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. In the 88th minute, Franz Osborn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damion Lonsdale. The goal made the score 4-5. Deon Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Ludlow FC got a freekick which was hit by Will Culverhouse. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ludlow FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
