Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rod Le Tissier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Dylan Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinnie Cardwell's late challenge caught a ATTACK CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinnie Cardwell helped the player get up and apologised. Vinnie Cardwell hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Maldon's Duncan Haigh got control of the ball when Jon Thornton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rod Le Tissier got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Duncan Haigh handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ian Woodcock hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Duncan Haigh was a little too slow when Rod Le Tissier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. Dylan Lambert might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duncan Haigh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dylan Lambert ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Le Tissier in the 31st minute of play forced Maldon's goalkeeper Duncan Haigh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Dylan Lambert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATTACK CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Ian Woodcock came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Maldon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Woodcock couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinnie Cardwell made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, CJ Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATTACK CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but CJ Waller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Danny Bland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Rod Le Tissier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duncan Haigh. Maldon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rod Le Tissier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Duncan Haigh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Le Tissier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Dylan Lambert notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Maldon's Duncan Haigh. Duncan Haigh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Le Tissier in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duncan Haigh saved Maldon from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maldon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Le Tissier in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duncan Haigh saved Maldon from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dylan Lambert in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duncan Haigh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dylan Lambert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danny Bland was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th match minute, Maldon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Bland to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rod Le Tissier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duncan Haigh was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Duncan Haigh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Le Tissier in the 90th minute of the match. Guy Frizzell's late challenge caught a Maldon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guy Frizzell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Guy Frizzell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zack Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinnie Cardwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to ATTACK CLUB getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Christian Savage hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the ATTACK CLUB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
