Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Ian Haines started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The ATTACK CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when ATTACK CLUB's Rod Le Tissier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jim Perkins scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zack Groves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Guy Frizzell fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATTACK CLUB's protests and gave Guy Frizzell a yellow card for diving instead. Dylan Lambert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rod Le Tissier in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Laycock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Le Tissier in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Laycock saved Herne Bay FC from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Herne Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Haines. Robin Laycock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Le Tissier in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Rod Le Tissier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Laycock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timothy Wiley hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Zack Groves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Haines in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, ATTACK CLUB's goalkeeper Zack Groves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Perkins. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rod Le Tissier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herne Bay FC's Robin Laycock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Herne Bay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Frizzell came free, but Robin Laycock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rod Le Tissier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Laycock was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. CJ Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Robin Laycock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Le Tissier in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Laycock saved Herne Bay FC from getting behind. Herne Bay FC's Robin Laycock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Le Tissier in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rod Le Tissier to make the kick off. When %teams%'s Rod Le Tissier was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 59 minutes into the game. Robin Laycock was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Dylan Lambert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Robin Laycock made a huge save. Zack Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Haines, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, ATTACK CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Greenfield to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, ATTACK CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Perkins came free, but Zack Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rod Le Tissier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Laycock was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Dylan Greenfield kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jim Perkins struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Zack Groves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herne Bay FC. A collision led to ATTACK CLUB getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Guy Frizzell hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, CJ Waller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rod Le Tissier came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the ATTACK CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Le Tissier couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rod Le Tissier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Laycock was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Rich Renwick fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herne Bay FC's protests and gave Rich Renwick a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Herne Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Rich Renwick. Ian Haines hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Rod Le Tissiers short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Robin Laycock to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herne Bay FC's Ian Haines got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ATTACK CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
