In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Downham Market AFC. Hayden McGrath stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Spike Collier. 0-1. Damon Moyse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Des Yeo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Downham Market AFC's Des Yeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Partridge in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Crispin Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Des Yeo stood somewhat misplaced when Stephen Partridge came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 17 minute. In the 21st minute Stephen Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Des Yeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Des Yeo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Damon Moyse sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Partridge in the 25th minute of play forced Downham Market AFC's goalkeeper Des Yeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephen Partridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Des Yeo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Des Yeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Moyse in the 32nd minute of the match. Stephen Partridge might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Des Yeo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephen Partridge ran back to his position shaking his head. Damon Moyse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ludlow FC's Franz Osborn got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Stephen Partridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Des Yeo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Downham Market AFC's Rich Pascoe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Spike Collier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Damon Moyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Des Yeo having to interfere. Keiran Blower hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Bobby Pitts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Des Yeo skillfully saved the ball. In the 62nd minute Stephen Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Des Yeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Downham Market AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Moyse came free, but Des Yeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kieran Draper hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Stephen Partridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Des Yeo having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Kieran Draper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Downham Market AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ludlow FC the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Downham Market AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kieran Draper to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Ludlow FC's Bobby Pitts broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Damon Moyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Des Yeo having to interfere. If Stephen Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Sledge charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Sledge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Downham Market AFC's Jay Floyd in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ludlow FC's goalie prevented a goal. Stephen Partridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Des Yeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Des Yeo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ludlow FC's Damon Moyse shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee ended the match the Ludlow FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
