Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lázaro Assis kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Ivan Kaye reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachary Skwira. The goal made the score 1-0. STEEL SPORT CLUB's Zachary Skwira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save STEEL SPORT CLUB from getting a goal against them. Alex Edison kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When New Wave FC's Dave Henwood in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STEEL SPORT CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. 2-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Dave Henwood elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lázaro Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Fuller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Assis in the 40th minute of the match. New Wave FC were furious when Nigel Jenkins was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Wave FC! Lázaro Assis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 46th minute, Ashley Linkletter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Wave FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Ploughman was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, New Wave FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Henwood to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Tommy Edgson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kirk Forster fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STEEL SPORT CLUB's protests and gave Kirk Forster a yellow card for diving instead. Zachary Skwira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Linkletter in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ivan Kaye managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Wave FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Kaye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachary Skwira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the New Wave FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
