After having played for 28 minutes, Jawaheer Gupta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pune City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jawaheer Gupta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Asesa Sawhney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jawaheer Gupta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kalidas Dev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sanjog Sharma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The wind increased when Jawaheer Gupta made the kick off in the second half. Kalidas Dev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asesa Sawhney went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 55thth minute of the game Jawaheer Gupta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luton's Kalidas Dev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ujjaljit Dutta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambhoja Marathe. Pune City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ujjaljit Dutta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Kalidas Dev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jawaheer Gupta in the 79th minute of the match. Ujjaljit Dutta hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jawaheer Gupta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalidas Dev having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Luton's goal looked a bit too open when Asesa Sawhney came free, but Kalidas Dev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Pune City's Kushwant Ramesh made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalidas Dev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luton's Kalidas Dev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jawaheer Gupta in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Kushwant Ramesh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pune City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. If Asesa Sawhney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Pune City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
