Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Durgadatta Mohan made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Jinda Sukhija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasanthi Hothi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brahmibhuta Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vasanthi Hothi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durgadatta Mohan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lovedean booed when Dragon Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durgadatta Mohan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Durgadatta Mohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lovedean's zone, Durgadatta Mohan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasanthi Hothi came out of the goal and Durgadatta Mohan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apsuhomya Desai charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apsuhomya Desai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lovedean's Apsuhomya Desai got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Dragon Army getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mahavir Pujari hit a great ball. Vasanthi Hothi was a little too slow when Durgadatta Mohan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 29th minute Kapilan Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apa Chamling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jinda Sukhija struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vasanthi Hothi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragon Army. After a rather tough play, Lovedean's Ayasya Chahal got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Dragon Army's Durgadatta Mohan in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lovedean's goalie prevented a goal. Vasan Sakhrie kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Brahmibhuta Dias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 44th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dhrtadaksa Gala to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Dragon Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grht Sailo to maneuver through the defense. Lovedean's Vasanthi Hothi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jinda Sukhija in the 57th minute of play. Durgadatta Mohan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vasanthi Hothi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lovedean's Jagajiva Ojha got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durgadatta Mohan in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasanthi Hothi saved Lovedean from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durgadatta Mohan in the 65th minute of play forced Lovedean's goalkeeper Vasanthi Hothi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vasan Sakhrie came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dragon Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasan Sakhrie couldn't finish the play. Vasanthi Hothi came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragon Army's Brgala Dhanoa. But to his dismay, Brgala Dhanoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Brahmibhuta Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasanthi Hothi. Lovedean's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brahmibhuta Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jinda Sukhija in the 77th minute of play forced Lovedean's goalkeeper Vasanthi Hothi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lovedean's Jagajiva Ojha got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durgadatta Mohan in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasanthi Hothi saved Lovedean from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Lovedean was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Partap Das to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Baryai Lepcha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Dragon Army fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Dragon Army's Durgadatta Mohan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dragon Army fully deserved thier win.
