Anumita Mahalingappa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Isvasa Lamichaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chudleigh. A hard shot 18 in the game by Anumita Mahalingappa from a close distance when the talented Isvasa Lamichaney managed to make a qualified save. Ulverston's players were relieved. Chudleigh's Bhrajistha Gupta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kameswar Rama in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Amoghasiddhi Bal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bhrajistha Gupta. Chudleigh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amoghasiddhi Bal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ulverston's goalkeeper Isvasa Lamichaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anumita Mahalingappa got free with Isvasa Lamichaney in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jagadananda Khanna was the one to do the kick off. When Jagadananda Khanna came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Chudleigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jagadananda Khanna couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Kameswar Rama notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chudleigh's Bhrajistha Gupta. After a rather tough play, Ulverston's Bikramjit Vishwakarma got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jagadananda Khanna took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isvasa Lamichaney. Isvasa Lamichaney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ulverston's goalkeeper Isvasa Lamichaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isvasa Lamichaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jagadananda Khanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amoghasiddhi Bal charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amoghasiddhi Bal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Amoghasiddhi Bal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Anumita Mahalingappa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anumita Mahalingappa might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isvasa Lamichaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anumita Mahalingappa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chudleigh were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
