After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Harimbhara Rai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buddhasinha Modi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jairaja Yeddyurappa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brixham AFC's protests and gave Jairaja Yeddyurappa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brixham AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jairaja Yeddyurappa hit a great ball. Harimbhara Rai struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Buddhasinha Modi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindfield. After 8 minutes of play, Lindfield's Ratanpreet Bhatti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buddhasinha Modi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Agrayana Ahuja got free with Candrata Gain in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match Disnu Liansailova shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Buddhasinha Modi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Harimbhara Rai came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Lindfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harimbhara Rai couldn't finish the play. Candrata Gain didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Haromohana Pind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Buddhasinha Modi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harimbhara Rai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddhasinha Modi having to interfere. Govindagowda Rajput kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Harimbhara Rai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Harimbhara Rai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brixham AFC's Buddhasinha Modi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ratanpreet Bhatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harimbhara Rai took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buddhasinha Modi. Buddhasinha Modi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harimbhara Rai to make the kick off. With a little luck, Brixham AFC's Buddhasinha Modi got control of the ball when Ratanpreet Bhatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Gokanya Bansal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brixham AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lindfield the free kick. Ratanpreet Bhatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Buddhasinha Modi as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Brixham AFC's Gokanya Bansal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Harimbhara Rai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddhasinha Modi having to interfere. Harimbhara Rai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Buddhasinha Modi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
