Balasinha Bhaura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Abhasvara Mondol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abhasvara Mondol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wincanton. Srinivasan Padda charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Srinivasan Padda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Newcastle-under-Lyme's Gautam Rattu got a free kick in the 44th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Srinivasan Padda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Wincanton's Amaru Chatterjee got control of the ball when Kumaran Pradhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Katumbi Mahalingappa in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amaru Chatterjee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd match minute, Wincanton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apasyu Nijjar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wincanton's zone, Katumbi Mahalingappa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amaru Chatterjee came out of the goal and Katumbi Mahalingappa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wincanton getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Apasyu Nijjar hit a great ball.
