In the 11th minute Acananas Kaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gurmit Gore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Akal Das mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the souvik super team and the Eruvunda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eruvunda FC booed when souvik super team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akal Das didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes souvik super team got a freekick which was hit by Abhimanyusuta Takhar. Acananas Kaal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, souvik super team's Kalpita Dutta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rajkumar Nagra. Rajkumar Nagra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abhimanyusuta Takhar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abhimanyusuta Takhar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Girija Takhar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gurmit Gore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eruvunda FC. A collision led to souvik super team getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dvimidha Mittal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acananas Kaal in the 44th minute of play forced souvik super team's goalkeeper Gurmit Gore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karthik Cheema to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Gurmit Gore successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rajkumar Nagra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalpita Dutta, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gurmit Gore made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Girija Takhar sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Kalpita Dutta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eruvunda FC's zone, Devasthali Japra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajkumar Nagra came out of the goal and Devasthali Japra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Karthik Cheema came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the souvik super team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karthik Cheema couldn't finish the play. Devasthali Japra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajkumar Nagra having to interfere. Devasthali Japra took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rajkumar Nagra. Rajkumar Nagra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jyayas Dutta hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Devasthali Japra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajkumar Nagra having to interfere. Asokavardhana Sharma's late challenge caught a souvik super team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asokavardhana Sharma helped the player get up and apologised. Asokavardhana Sharma hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Kalpita Dutta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rajkumar Nagra. Eruvunda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalpita Dutta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eruvunda FC's goalkeeper Rajkumar Nagra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eruvunda FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because souvik super team had won, even though Eruvunda FC had held more of the ball.
