Jitvan Nandu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Broughton Astley's Jitvan Nandu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ekahans Bagha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jitvan Nandu struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Anusikha Dhillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broughton Astley. After a rather tough play, Padstow United's Aksaka Sagoo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bhuvapati Chatterjee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Anusikha Dhillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anusikha Dhillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jitvan Nandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anusikha Dhillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jitvan Nandu in the 45th minute of the match. In the 50th minute, Bhuvapati Chatterjee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broughton Astley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Padstow United's Anusikha Dhillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jitvan Nandu in the 58th minute of play. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ayobahu Mukhopadhyay hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Padstow United's Jayanta Ganguly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Broughton Astley. 74 minutes into the match, Padstow United's goal looked a bit too open when Bhuvapati Chatterjee came free, but Anusikha Dhillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirakari Sihota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bhuvapati Chatterjee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Atamjit Mukhopadhyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jayanta Ganguly in the 86th minute really tested Sunderi Bansal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 88th minute Bhuvapati Chatterjee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anusikha Dhillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anusikha Dhillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jitvan Nandu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Arihan Rudrappa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sunderi Bansal made a huge save. When Cirakari Sihota came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Padstow United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirakari Sihota couldn't finish the play. Broughton Astley's Jitvan Nandu got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 101 minutes into the match, Bhuvapati Chatterjee notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Padstow United's Anusikha Dhillon. Anusikha Dhillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
