Aveesh Iyer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Jeman Jain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asirisa Chana skillfully saved the ball. Jayprakash Ghai kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Auttamika Ghag managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otterham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Auttamika Ghag was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asirisa Chana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buddhadeb Ralte in the 14th minute of play forced Otterham FC's goalkeeper Namjeev Kelkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Otterham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aveesh Iyer came free, but Namjeev Kelkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Otterham FC's zone, Aveesh Iyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Namjeev Kelkar came out of the goal and Aveesh Iyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aveesh Iyer might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Namjeev Kelkar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aveesh Iyer ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Auttamika Ghag notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Lions's Asirisa Chana. Asirisa Chana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the game, Giriraj Balil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Asirisa Chana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asirisa Chana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Auttamika Ghag's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Auttamika Ghag to make the kick off. Namjeev Kelkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buddhadeb Ralte, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Buddhadeb Ralte struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Namjeev Kelkar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Lions. In the 62ndth minute of the game Aveesh Iyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otterham FC's Namjeev Kelkar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otterham FC's Namjeev Kelkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buddhadeb Ralte in the 65th minute of play. Namjeev Kelkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buddhadeb Ralte in the 68th minute of the match. When Otterham FC's Auttamika Ghag in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 97 played minutes, The Lions's Nirmla Agrawal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Namjeev Kelkar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Lions reached it. The Otterham FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Otterham FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
