Suraj Marak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abhyagni Siddhu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adhiksita Biswas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Abhyagni Siddhu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Suraj Marak. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Souvik super team's goal looked a bit too open when Abhyagni Siddhu came free, but Suraj Marak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhiksita Biswas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abhyagni Siddhu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Suraj Marak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darvanda Gogia in the 21st minute of play forced Retford City's goalkeeper Jata Gandhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aticanda Madhusudan struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Suraj Marak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retford City. 32 minutes into the match, Retford City's goal looked a bit too open when Darvanda Gogia came free, but Jata Gandhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasantha Thapa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Atul Tiwari fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Souvik super team's protests and gave Atul Tiwari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, one of Souvik super team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Souvik super team. After a defensive mix-up in Souvik super team's zone, Abhyagni Siddhu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suraj Marak came out of the goal and Abhyagni Siddhu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Darvanda Gogia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Souvik super team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darvanda Gogia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Kulapati Agroia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jata Gandhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abhyagni Siddhu made the kick off in the second half. Jata Gandhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kulapati Agroia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Suraj Marak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abhyagni Siddhu went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Suraj Marak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abhyagni Siddhu in the 62nd minute of play. Saroop Pant hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Suraj Marak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhiksita Biswas in the 66th minute of play. Abhyagni Siddhu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Suraj Marak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Retford City got a freekick which was hit by Aticanda Madhusudan. In the 73rdth minute of the game Abhyagni Siddhu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Souvik super team's Suraj Marak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Retford City's Adhiksita Biswas got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Abhyagni Siddhu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Souvik super team's Suraj Marak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Souvik super team getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Naina Vadhwa hit a great ball. If Abhyagni Siddhu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Souvik super team got a freekick which was hit by Saroop Pant. 88 minutes into the match, Souvik super team's goal looked a bit too open when Abhyagni Siddhu came free, but Suraj Marak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Adhiksita Biswas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Suraj Marak was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Kulapati Agroia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kulapati Agroia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aticanda Madhusudan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aticanda Madhusudan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Darvanda Gogia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retford City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Souvik super team for a fine match.
