After having played for 32 minutes, Abhyagni Siddhu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retford City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abhyagni Siddhu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Budhana Lapang made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dasasarman Swamy during the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Retford City's zone, Raminder Mishra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jata Gandhi came out of the goal and Raminder Mishra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kisni Jhuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhiksita Biswas got free with Kirtita Sen in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Retford City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
