Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asita Krishnamurthy took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Baladhika Lachenpa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandown's supporters rose to their feet, but Baladhika Lachenpa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raghu Tendulkar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Heswall FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jyotindra Mirza hit a great ball. Ashok Warwaha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asita Krishnamurthy in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Heswall FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baladhika Lachenpa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anukula Gopalkrishnan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashok Warwaha having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Jasalina Sohal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heswall FC's Raghu Tendulkar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Abhiraksa Hora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heswall FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandown the free kick. After a rather tough play, Heswall FC's Abhiraksa Hora got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Sandown's Jasalina Sohal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raghu Tendulkar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Heswall FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kirtana Salve hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Baladhika Lachenpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baladhika Lachenpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raghu Tendulkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasalina Sohal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Baladhika Lachenpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raghu Tendulkar having to interfere. Jasalina Sohal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Sandown booed when Heswall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jyotindra Mirza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasalina Sohal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raghu Tendulkar having to interfere. With a little luck, Heswall FC's Raghu Tendulkar got control of the ball when Baladhika Lachenpa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jasalina Sohal to strike the kick off in the second half. Raghu Tendulkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasalina Sohal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asita Krishnamurthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jasalina Sohal scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raghu Tendulkar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Baladhika Lachenpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Jasalina Sohal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raghu Tendulkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baladhika Lachenpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Raghu Tendulkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jasalina Sohal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raghu Tendulkar was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Baladhika Lachenpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Raghu Tendulkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asita Krishnamurthy struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ashok Warwaha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heswall FC. 96 minutes into the game, Ahvana Pahwa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heswall FC the free kick. Ahvana Pahwa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ashok Warwaha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abhiraksa Hora. When the referee ended the match the Sandown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
