After having played for 23 minutes, Anangada Vadhwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nailsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anangada Vadhwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nailsea's Akrsnakarman Chandha got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Duleep Ghag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dharanija Padda got free with Kamaraja Mitra in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Duleep Ghag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamaraja Mitra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jivadeva Chakma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Anupriya Varma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Anangada Vadhwa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nailsea and the Calcuta Athletic Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anangada Vadhwa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Dharanija Padda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dharanija Padda got free with Kamaraja Mitra in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Nailsea's goal looked a bit too open when Duleep Ghag came free, but Kamaraja Mitra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Calcuta Athletic Rangers's Kapilan Khahera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kamaraja Mitra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Nailsea fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calcuta Athletic Rangers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
