Ditaujas Lamichaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devavesman Krishnan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Devavesman Krishnan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Dhanirama Kishore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lewes AFC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Lewes AFC's Dhanirama Kishore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vinay Kale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bhumimitra Chopra having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Lewes AFC's Mohana Diyali made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aksamata Bajwa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnava Khangura got free with Bhumimitra Chopra in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aksamata Bajwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ditaujas Lamichaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Arnava Khangura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bhumimitra Chopra made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Swinton's Vinay Kale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bhumimitra Chopra. Bhumimitra Chopra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dhanirama Kishore to strike the kick off in the second half. When Lewes AFC's Dhanirama Kishore in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swinton's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Lewes AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Asvaketu Thiara hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Lewes AFC defense, Vinay Kale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bhumimitra Chopra. The Lewes AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bhumimitra Chopra should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Teju Chaddha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aksamata Bajwa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bhuyan Kapur. Dilip Sukhija's late challenge caught a Lewes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dilip Sukhija helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 minutes Swinton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bhuyan Kapur who took care of the corner kick. Lewes AFC's Bhuyan Kapur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aksamata Bajwa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teju Chaddha kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Swinton's goal looked a bit too open when Dhanirama Kishore came free, but Aksamata Bajwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ditaujas Lamichaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aksamata Bajwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dhanirama Kishore in the 86th minute of the match. Aksamata Bajwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asvaketu Thiara in the 88th minute of play. The Swinton fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lewes AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
