Jaswinder Bhangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hema Arneja during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Poster FC's Hema Arneja got a free kick in the 8th minute. Chananjeet Dua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kanvar Dutta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manu Chhugani made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 13thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Chananjeet Dua would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Chananjeet Dua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kanvar Dutta in the 20th minute of the match. Kanvar Dutta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hyper United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bhavik Bhachu hit a great ball. A collision led to Poster FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manu Chhugani hit a great ball. Manu Chhugani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Chananjeet Dua made a huge save. Kanvar Dutta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chananjeet Dua made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Manu Chhugani sent off a good shot on target. Manu Chhugani might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chananjeet Dua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manu Chhugani ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Kanvar Dutta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Chananjeet Dua to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaswinder Bhangu was the one to do the kick off. Bahubala Ayer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jagadbala Aulakh made a huge save. Manu Chhugani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Chananjeet Dua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Bhavik Bhachu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyper United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bhavik Bhachu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahubala Ayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chananjeet Dua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Chhugani, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute, Kanvar Dutta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poster FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 72 minutes, Dhyanayogi Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyper United and the Poster FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaswinder Bhangu struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jagadbala Aulakh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hyper United. Manu Chhugani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chananjeet Dua having to interfere. Anurakt Chana kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Poster FC's Kanvar Dutta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chananjeet Dua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaswinder Bhangu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jagadbala Aulakh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Poster FC had won after a very even match.
