Jagadbala Aulakh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candakirana Rama, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Palla Kumar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Manu Chhugani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Ware United's goal looked a bit too open when Kanvar Dutta came free, but Ajeet Sabnis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Candakirana Rama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jagadbala Aulakh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candakirana Rama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ware United's Candakirana Rama got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Poster FC got a freekick which was hit by Basanta Sandhu. Jagadbala Aulakh acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maninder Warwaha. The supporters of Ware United booed when Poster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basanta Sandhu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes, Ware United's Maninder Warwaha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jagadbala Aulakh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ware United reached it. Ajeet Sabnis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basanta Sandhu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Ajeet Sabnis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kanvar Dutta in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Balamadi Dindral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ware United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poster FC the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Ware United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balamadi Dindral to maneuver through the defense. Manu Chhugani struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ajeet Sabnis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poster FC. If Candakirana Rama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poster FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
