Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dhanirama Kishore started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Lewes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohana Diyali to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lewes AFC booed when Hyper United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bhavik Bhachu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hyper United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Dhanirama Kishore scored to the left of an out of position Chananjeet Dua, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Bhavik Bhachu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ditaujas Lamichaney succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. Hyper United's Chananjeet Dua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhanirama Kishore in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ditaujas Lamichaney got free with Chananjeet Dua in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th match minute, Hyper United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhavik Bhachu to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Ditaujas Lamichaney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyper United's Chananjeet Dua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ditaujas Lamichaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hyper United defense, Ditaujas Lamichaney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chananjeet Dua. The Hyper United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chananjeet Dua should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Dhanirama Kishore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaswinder Bhangu to strike the kick off in the second half. Anurakt Chana's late challenge caught a Lewes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anurakt Chana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hyper United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anurakt Chana hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Bhuyan Kapur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chananjeet Dua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Hyper United got a freekick which was hit by Bhavik Bhachu. Chananjeet Dua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ditaujas Lamichaney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhanirama Kishore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Chananjeet Dua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hyper United's Chananjeet Dua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditaujas Lamichaney in the 71st minute of play. When Ditaujas Lamichaney came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lewes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ditaujas Lamichaney couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Dhanirama Kishore made a precise shot to the right of Chananjeet Dua. Hyper United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Bahubala Ayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hyper United's Bhavik Bhachu got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Bhavik Bhachu off the ground. Bhavik Bhachu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Chananjeet Dua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ditaujas Lamichaney in the 89th minute of the match. Hyper United's Chananjeet Dua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhanirama Kishore in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Hyper United got a freekick which was hit by Jaswinder Bhangu. 93 minutes into the match, Hyper United's goal looked a bit too open when Ditaujas Lamichaney came free, but Chananjeet Dua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Lewes AFC's Dhanirama Kishore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chananjeet Dua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Lewes AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
