Dhanirama Kishore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohana Diyali during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Lewes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohana Diyali. When Asvaketu Thiara fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lewes AFC's protests and gave Asvaketu Thiara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lewes AFC's Asvaketu Thiara got a free kick in the 11th minute. Asvaketu Thiara kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dhanirama Kishore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 played minutes Soccer Stars FC got a freekick which was hit by Ashok Chauhan. In the 27th minute of the match Bhuyan Kapur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devanayaka Kapani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Devanayaka Kapani came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Lewes AFC's Ditaujas Lamichaney. But to his dismay, Ditaujas Lamichaney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Dhanirama Kishore made a precise shot to the right of Devanayaka Kapani. Soccer Stars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 42 played minutes, Lewes AFC's Upjeet Thakkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Devanayaka Kapani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lewes AFC reached it. Gurumukha Sheikh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bhumimitra Chopra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Soccer Stars FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anubhavya Mehra hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dhanirama Kishore in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devanayaka Kapani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Soccer Stars FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anubhavya Mehra hit a great ball. After the first half Lewes AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ravinder Sodhi made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Soccer Stars FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dhanirama Kishore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 58th match minute, Soccer Stars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daulat Boparai to maneuver through the defense. Devanayaka Kapani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ditaujas Lamichaney in the 65th minute. Dhanirama Kishore might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Devanayaka Kapani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dhanirama Kishore ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ditaujas Lamichaney got free with Devanayaka Kapani in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lewes AFC's Bhumimitra Chopra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ravinder Sodhi in the 73rd minute of play. Devanayaka Kapani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ditaujas Lamichaney went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Asvaketu Thiara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devanayaka Kapani having to interfere. When Mahavir Virdee fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lewes AFC's protests and gave Mahavir Virdee a yellow card for diving instead. Ditaujas Lamichaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, Soccer Stars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adityesa Ahuja to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Dhanirama Kishore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Devanayaka Kapani. That made the score 0-5 in the 97 minute of play.
