An unexpectedly hard shot by Jivavijaya Pawar in the 10th minute of play forced Thrybergh FC's goalkeeper Aksata Sihota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karniki Toor fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thrybergh FC's protests and gave Karniki Toor a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Thrybergh FC got a freekick which was hit by Karniki Toor. Agnidatta Ngullie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aksata Sihota. Thrybergh FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Thrybergh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jivavijaya Pawar came free, but Aksata Sihota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Muralidhar Rama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knutsford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muralidhar Rama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jivavijaya Pawar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aksata Sihota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jivavijaya Pawar sped through Thrybergh FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aksata Sihota. After 41 played minutes Knutsford FC got a freekick which was hit by Kalyanaraman Vishwakarma. In the 44thth minute of the game Jivavijaya Pawar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thrybergh FC's Aksata Sihota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Knutsford FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jivavijaya Pawar made the kick off in the second half. Vasan Shahraj's late challenge caught a Knutsford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Muralidhar Rama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Aksata Sihota made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Jivavijaya Pawar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aksata Sihota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muralidhar Rama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
