Tavistock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hanumant Vishwakarma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ponteland City's Hanumant Vishwakarma got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aparthiva Ahuja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Fakir Pujari took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anukula Sran to make any attempt to save it. Anukula Sran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashwini Tendulkar in the 25th minute. Tavistock were furious when Kakubjaya Barn was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Ponteland City's Jaguri Tind got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anukula Sran. If Aparthiva Ahuja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tavistock getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Baru Sandhu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ponteland City's zone, Aparthiva Ahuja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansuka Brar came out of the goal and Aparthiva Ahuja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ansuka Brar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparthiva Ahuja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fakir Pujari in the 51st minute of play forced Tavistock's goalkeeper Anukula Sran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Baru Sandhu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tavistock and the Ponteland City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ponteland City booed when Tavistock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baru Sandhu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparthiva Ahuja in the 64th minute of play forced Ponteland City's goalkeeper Ansuka Brar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Jagdeep Bhosle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ansuka Brar. Jagdeep Bhosle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 74th minute, Aparthiva Ahuja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Baru Sandhu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ponteland City's Ansuka Brar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aparthiva Ahuja in the 83rd minute of play. Ashwini Tendulkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aparthiva Ahuja struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ansuka Brar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavistock. When Aparthiva Ahuja came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tavistock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aparthiva Ahuja couldn't finish the play. Ponteland City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
