Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apacita Rahul kicked off to start the match. Satinderpal Sangha's late challenge caught a Ilkley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Satinderpal Sangha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Legend XI's Satinderpal Sangha got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legend XI's goalkeeper Hiranyadanta Bassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Hardial Dasgupta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legend XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Hardial Dasgupta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramnath Mukherjee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Legend XI's Amanjit Ahuja got a free kick in the 17th minute. Amanjit Ahuja hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ilkley City's Akara Pant got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Javanila Gill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramnath Mukherjee skillfully saved the ball. Ilkley City's Apacita Rahul got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Satinderpal Sangha kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Hiranyadanta Bassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laxman Sohota, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Legend XI's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Apacita Rahul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 38 minutes, Akara Pant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilkley City and the Legend XI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akara Pant kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Legend XI's Amanjit Ahuja got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Apacita Rahul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hiranyadanta Bassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinaya Lapang to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laxman Sohota in the 55th minute of play forced Legend XI's goalkeeper Hiranyadanta Bassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apacita Rahul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hiranyadanta Bassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Legend XI's goal looked a bit too open when Laxman Sohota came free, but Hiranyadanta Bassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Laxman Sohota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apacita Rahul in the 81st minute of play forced Legend XI's goalkeeper Hiranyadanta Bassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Laxman Sohota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ilkley City's Apacita Rahul in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legend XI's goalie prevented a goal. Hardial Dasgupta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramnath Mukherjee having to make a save. A collision led to Ilkley City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gramapala Chawla hit a great ball. Hardial Dasgupta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Legend XI players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ilkley City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
