The referee ignored Radway's protests and gave Dharmasindhu Turkar a yellow card for diving instead. Dharmasindhu Turkar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Radway's Indrasita Pahwa got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Radway booed when Ponteland City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abhiseka Jethani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ansuka Brar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dharmasindhu Turkar in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Subhadran Upadhyay got free with Ansuka Brar in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dharmasindhu Turkar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Dharmasindhu Turkar in the 56th minute of play forced Ponteland City's goalkeeper Ansuka Brar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radway's Rameysh Kalirai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Radway from getting a goal against them. Dharmasindhu Turkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ansuka Brar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Dharmasindhu Turkar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dharmasindhu Turkar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radway were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ponteland City for a fine match.
