Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adisesan Ragi got the match started through his kick off. Southbourne AFC's Navjot Narindra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cunanda Janda in the 4th minute of play. Adisesan Ragi might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ditaujas Sarkar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adisesan Ragi ran back to his position shaking his head. From close distance Cidrupa Lell pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 9 minutes into the game. Ryker's Atideva Bhave got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ditaujas Sarkar made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cidrupa Lell sent off a good shot on target. Adisesan Ragi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryker's Ditaujas Sarkar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ryker from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Adisesan Ragi in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Adisesan Ragi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cidrupa Lell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ditaujas Sarkar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adisesan Ragi in the 39th minute of play. Adisesan Ragi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ditaujas Sarkar having to make a save. Adisesan Ragi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atideva Bhave to make the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Southbourne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abhikanksa Tangadavi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ryker's Abhiru Hira tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, Ryker's Atideva Bhave made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Navjot Narindra was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rati Khanna fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southbourne AFC's protests and gave Rati Khanna a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Southbourne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rati Khanna. 78 minutes into the match, Southbourne AFC's Adisesan Ragi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ditaujas Sarkar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84th play minutes Adisesan Ragi shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ditaujas Sarkar and just under the crossbar into goal. Cunanda Janda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adisesan Ragi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ditaujas Sarkar having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Cidrupa Lell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southbourne AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
