The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game Amandip Holkar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daksayana Kapani. Hema Denzongpa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daksayana Kapani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Ketana Sukhija notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of levelaen's Hema Denzongpa. Hema Denzongpa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the game, Ajit Sarang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SHARPNEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave levelaen the free kick. In the 10th match minute, SHARPNEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ajit Sarang to maneuver through the defense. Himambu Rama made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dipin Pant sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diviraj Rani got free with Himambu Rama in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Himambu Rama was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Krtahasta Chima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krtahasta Chima really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Himambu Rama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dipin Pant's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Krtahasta Chima notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SHARPNEL's Himambu Rama. Himambu Rama was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes SHARPNEL got a freekick which was hit by Amanpal Rajput. Himambu Rama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abhimoda Gowda in the 32nd minute. levelaen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abhimoda Gowda in the 33rd minute. Dipin Pant was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dipin Pant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Himambu Rama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, SHARPNEL's goalkeeper Himambu Rama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dipin Pant. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daksayana Kapani during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daksayana Kapani kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Abhimoda Gowda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Himambu Rama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Himambu Rama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krtahasta Chima in the 42nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Himambu Rama successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th minute, levelaen's Dipin Pant ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Himambu Rama. Himambu Rama yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krtahasta Chima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to levelaen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dipin Pant hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Bhuvanadhisa Chohan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHARPNEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bhuvanadhisa Chohan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Diviraj Rani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SHARPNEL's Himambu Rama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SHARPNEL defense, Dipin Pant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Himambu Rama. The SHARPNEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Himambu Rama should have stopped the shot. After having played for 69 minutes, Krtahasta Chima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. levelaen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krtahasta Chima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Dipin Pant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Himambu Rama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Abhimoda Gowda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Dipin Pant came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the levelaen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dipin Pant couldn't finish the play. Diviraj Rani took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Himambu Rama. Himambu Rama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Himambu Rama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dipin Pant in the 89th minute of the match. SHARPNEL's Himambu Rama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dipin Pant in the 90th minute of play. Diviraj Rani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Himambu Rama having to make a save. Hema Denzongpa was a little too slow when Digbhraja Salve got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 6-2. There was no doubt that levelaen were the better team. levelaen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
