Thanks to some nice moves Cidrupa Lell could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Himambu Rama however easily saved by the left post. Himambu Rama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cidrupa Lell in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Adisesan Ragi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Himambu Rama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Cidrupa Lell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Digbhraja Salve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navjot Narindra having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Rati Khanna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, SHARPNEL's goal looked a bit too open when Adisesan Ragi came free, but Himambu Rama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cidrupa Lell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Himambu Rama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adisesan Ragi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Himambu Rama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southbourne AFC. 45 minutes into the match, SHARPNEL's goalkeeper Himambu Rama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cidrupa Lell. Himambu Rama made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cidrupa Lell sent off a good shot on target. SHARPNEL's Himambu Rama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adisesan Ragi in the 48th minute of play. The Southbourne AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SHARPNEL were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Digbhraja Salve made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cidrupa Lell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southbourne AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cidrupa Lell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Himambu Rama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cidrupa Lell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Himambu Rama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cidrupa Lell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rati Khanna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Himambu Rama having to make a save. Anokh More hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. SHARPNEL were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Southbourne AFC's much stronger midfield.
