Atideva Bhave succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 11 minutes, Camikara Jaggi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ryker and the Ringwood FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Cunanda Janda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adipa Fernandes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Dharmottara Brar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ditaujas Sarkar having to interfere. Dharmottara Brar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ditaujas Sarkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manvinder Anand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Manvinder Anand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manvinder Anand made a kick off. Cunanda Janda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adipa Fernandes having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Ryker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camikara Jaggi to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Ryker's goal looked a bit too open when Dharmottara Brar came free, but Ditaujas Sarkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ryker defense, Dharmottara Brar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ditaujas Sarkar. The Ryker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ditaujas Sarkar should have stopped the shot. Dharmottara Brar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cunanda Janda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Adipa Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prakash Khahera during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ryker fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ringwood FC a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vikram Mukhopadhyay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ryker's Ditaujas Sarkar. 4-1. Abalendu Jammu got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ringwood FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Abalendu Jammu hit a great ball. Abhiru Hira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Ringwood FC were the better team. Ringwood FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
