After 8 played minutes Phoenix Fire got a freekick which was hit by Birju Sabnis. Dhanajita Subba took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ditaujas Sarkar. Ditaujas Sarkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ditaujas Sarkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dhanajita Subba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhanajita Subba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ditaujas Sarkar having to interfere. Harikanta Dango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ditaujas Sarkar having to interfere. Ryker's Ditaujas Sarkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhanajita Subba in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Harikanta Dango got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dhanajita Subba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Fire's Danasagara Rane got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dhanajita Subba in the 33rd minute of play forced Ryker's goalkeeper Ditaujas Sarkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ditaujas Sarkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dhanajita Subba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atimanita Desai's late challenge caught a Phoenix Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atimanita Desai helped the player get up and apologised. Atimanita Desai kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Dhanajita Subba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ditaujas Sarkar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 46th minute, Dhanajita Subba made a precise shot to the right of Ditaujas Sarkar. Ryker's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atideva Bhave made a kick off. Krtsnavid Chettri scored 0-4 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ditaujas Sarkar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 66 minutes, Birju Sabnis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Fire and the Ryker players grew even worse after the yellow card. Phoenix Fire's Dhavalapaksa Saxena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atideva Bhave in the 72nd minute of play. Ditaujas Sarkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhanajita Subba, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Phoenix Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Atideva Bhave came free, but Dhavalapaksa Saxena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aparajisnu Sharma struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ditaujas Sarkar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Fire. Harikanta Dango was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Phoenix Fire's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Dhanajita Subba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Ryker's goal looked a bit too open when Harikanta Dango came free, but Ditaujas Sarkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dhanajita Subba struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ditaujas Sarkar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Fire. In the 93rd match minute, Phoenix Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danasagara Rane to maneuver through the defense. The Ryker fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Phoenix Fire were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
