Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Balraj Bansal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jatusthira Pal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weaverham FC's Balraj Bansal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ajagara Dhami in the 7th minute of play. Jatusthira Pal's late challenge caught a Weaverham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jatusthira Pal helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Lion Warrior Boys got a freekick which was hit by Jatusthira Pal. Ramgeet Sharma in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sateesha Multani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 11th minute, Harjeet Paranjpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Lion Warrior Boys's goalkeeper Sateesha Multani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramgeet Sharma. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piara Rahul in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sateesha Multani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramgeet Sharma struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sateesha Multani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weaverham FC. After a rather tough play, Lion Warrior Boys's Peshora Batra got a free kick in the 16th minute. Balraj Bansal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ajagara Dhami in the 19th minute of play. Ajagara Dhami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balraj Bansal having to interfere. When Lion Warrior Boys's Jatusthira Pal in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramgeet Sharma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ajagara Dhami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balraj Bansal. Weaverham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ajagara Dhami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After 56 minutes of play, Weaverham FC's Ramgeet Sharma made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sateesha Multani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sateesha Multani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piara Rahul, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lion Warrior Boys's goalkeeper Sateesha Multani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Piara Rahul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weaverham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piara Rahul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Jatusthira Pal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Govindagowda Mehra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sateesha Multani having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Shankar Lyngdoh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weaverham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lion Warrior Boys the free kick. Shankar Lyngdoh kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ajagara Dhami got free with Balraj Bansal in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jatusthira Pal couldn't finish the play. In the 81st play minute Ajagara Dhami came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Balraj Bansal. 2-2. Ajagara Dhami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Balraj Bansal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balraj Bansal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatusthira Pal in the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
