Ramgeet Sharma in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sateesha Multani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Lion Warrior Boys's Peshora Batra got a free kick in the 16th minute. Balraj Bansal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ajagara Dhami in the 19th minute of play. Ajagara Dhami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balraj Bansal having to interfere. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 56 minutes of play, Weaverham FC's Ramgeet Sharma made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sateesha Multani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weaverham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piara Rahul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Jatusthira Pal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ajagara Dhami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Balraj Bansal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balraj Bansal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatusthira Pal in the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
