Spectators: 6834 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Indumathy Sharma made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Taverham FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Anurag Chana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishwamba Chaudhari in the 4th minute of play forced Taverham FC's goalkeeper Shashi Bawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shashi Bawa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bishwamba Chaudhari went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Bishwamba Chaudhari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shashi Bawa was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Shadow FC's Bishwamba Chaudhari got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Ambuda Pahwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shadow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambuda Pahwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambuda Pahwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shashi Bawa having to interfere. If Ambuda Pahwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Dibag Bhambra made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Taverham FC's Shashi Bawa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Massem Basrai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taverham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shadow FC the free kick. After 40 played minutes Taverham FC got a freekick which was hit by Massem Basrai. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bishwamba Chaudhari in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shashi Bawa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Asvalarana Dhotre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Asvalarana Dhotre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shadow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asvalarana Dhotre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bishwamba Chaudhari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shashi Bawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bishwamba Chaudhari made a kick off. Shashi Bawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dibag Bhambra in the 52nd minute of play. Taverham FC's Shashi Bawa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Taverham FC from getting a goal against them. If Bishwamba Chaudhari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bishwamba Chaudhari got free with Shashi Bawa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Shadow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudhanatha Sinha came free, but Kukila Ghai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Anurag Chana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kukila Ghai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kukila Ghai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indumathy Sharma in the 66th minute of play. Akrtavrana Vadhwa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kukila Ghai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Massem Basrai in the 68th minute of the match. Massem Basrai was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Massem Basrai hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With his leg Shashi Bawa managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Shadow FC's Bishwamba Chaudhari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Shashi Bawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asvalarana Dhotre, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Taverham FC's goalkeeper Shashi Bawa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bishwamba Chaudhari. In the 76th minute Shadow FC were awarded a corner. Asvalarana Dhotre went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Dibag Bhambra to score against Shashi Bawa in Taverham FC's goal. 0-6 after 76 minutes. 79 minutes into the match, Taverham FC's goalkeeper Shashi Bawa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bishwamba Chaudhari. If Bishwamba Chaudhari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edha Dua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shashi Bawa was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Bishwamba Chaudhari capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bishwamba Chaudhari really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Shashi Bawa came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Shadow FC's Bishwamba Chaudhari. But to his dismay, Bishwamba Chaudhari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Shadow FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
