With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apiguna Thind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee ignored AS GUWAHATI's protests and gave Hemanya Gopalkrishnan a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes AS GUWAHATI got a freekick which was hit by Hemanya Gopalkrishnan. 33 minutes into the match, AS GUWAHATI's goal looked a bit too open when Khullana Pal came free, but Apiguna Thind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apiguna Thind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harilala Pannu in the 82nd minute of the match. If Harilala Pannu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vishwanand Krishnan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS GUWAHATI's goalkeeper Apiguna Thind, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apiguna Thind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harilala Pannu in the 96th minute of play. AS GUWAHATI succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Horsham FC had controlled the match.
