Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Khullana Pal got the match started through his kick off. Khullana Pal scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Balakunda Lianzuala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kanthamani Bain succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 10th playminute. Ijyasila Mundra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cancu Chopra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kanthamani Bain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, East Tilbury's goal looked a bit too open when Harilala Pannu came free, but Balakunda Lianzuala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khullana Pal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balakunda Lianzuala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khullana Pal in the 28th minute of play. Khullana Pal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balakunda Lianzuala having to interfere. Jasdave Banerjee hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. East Tilbury's Balakunda Lianzuala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harilala Pannu in the 43rd minute of play. Balakunda Lianzuala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khullana Pal in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ijyasila Mundra made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Horsham FC got a freekick which was hit by Premleen Aulakh. In the 53rd minute, Govindan Uppal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Annadeva Ngullie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cancu Chopra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Harilala Pannu from a close distance when the talented Balakunda Lianzuala managed to make a qualified save. East Tilbury's players were relieved. A collision led to Horsham FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Srinivasa Kale hit a great ball. A collision led to East Tilbury getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Renu Irani hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Horsham FC got a freekick which was hit by Govindan Uppal. In the 65th minute of the match Arana Krishnan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Balakunda Lianzuala skillfully saved the ball. Harilala Pannu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balakunda Lianzuala having to interfere. Balakunda Lianzuala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khullana Pal, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Harilala Pannu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balakunda Lianzuala acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karnavira Pind. 77 minutes into the match, East Tilbury's goalkeeper Balakunda Lianzuala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harilala Pannu. Harilala Pannu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. East Tilbury's Balakunda Lianzuala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khullana Pal in the 88th minute of play. Harilala Pannu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balakunda Lianzuala having to interfere. Jasdave Banerjee hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Horsham FC's Amitagati Thakur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Harilala Pannu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Balakunda Lianzuala made a huge save.
