Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Lytham from getting a goal against them. Sultan Vishveshwara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Balachandar Dasgupta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sultan Vishveshwara in the 12th minute of play. Balachandar Dasgupta was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Kasirama Rathore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kasirama Rathore really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bhavjeet Pandey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeman Venkataramanappa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Sultan Vishveshwara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Old Leake's Sultan Vishveshwara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Balachandar Dasgupta. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. Kavitha Takhar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Balachandar Dasgupta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sultan Vishveshwara, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Lytham's goal looked a bit too open when Sultan Vishveshwara came free, but Balachandar Dasgupta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Heman Chawla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old Leake and the Lytham players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heman Chawla kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Lytham's goalkeeper Balachandar Dasgupta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasirama Rathore. In the 42nd minute, Heman Chawla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Old Leake booed when Lytham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anantaram Upadhyay didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeman Venkataramanappa to strike the kick off in the second half. Balachandar Dasgupta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasirama Rathore in the 56th minute of the match. Old Leake's Sultan Vishveshwara managed to work through Lytham's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sultan Vishveshwara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sultan Vishveshwara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Balachandar Dasgupta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balachandar Dasgupta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasirama Rathore's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Lytham defense, Kasirama Rathore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Balachandar Dasgupta. The Lytham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Balachandar Dasgupta should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasirama Rathore in the 73rd minute of play forced Lytham's goalkeeper Balachandar Dasgupta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balachandar Dasgupta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasirama Rathore, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Lytham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhyanesa Malhan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasirama Rathore in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balachandar Dasgupta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balachandar Dasgupta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sultan Vishveshwara went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Lytham's Anantaram Upadhyay got a free kick in the 91st minute. Balachandar Dasgupta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasirama Rathore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Old Leake were the better team. Old Leake's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
