Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Asvatyama Kalirai started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Agnirajan Chand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jatakara Sethi. Wigan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agnirajan Chand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Agnirajan Chand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jajhara Kattaura during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wigan FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jajhara Kattaura hit a great ball. Agnirajan Chand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Wigan FC's Jatakara Sethi got control of the ball when Agnirajan Chand tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes Wigan FC got a freekick which was hit by Krishanin Pradhan. Agnirajan Chand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jatakara Sethi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agnirajan Chand might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jatakara Sethi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agnirajan Chand ran back to his position shaking his head. Agnirajan Chand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jatakara Sethi made a huge save. Wigan FC's Jajhara Kattaura got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Jajhara Kattaura off the ground. After 21 played minutes Wigan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jajhara Kattaura. If Agnirajan Chand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sukhdeep Sutantar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pardeep Ralte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatakara Sethi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Abhranaga Sudan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maldon's supporters rose to their feet, but Abhranaga Sudan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jatakara Sethi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Agnirajan Chand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wigan FC's zone, Agnirajan Chand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jatakara Sethi came out of the goal and Agnirajan Chand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnirajan Chand made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pardeep Ralte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maldon's supporters rose to their feet, but Pardeep Ralte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jatakara Sethi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agnirajan Chand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatakara Sethi having to interfere. Sukhdeep Sutantar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anshul Pannu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatakara Sethi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abhranaga Sudan's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jatakara Sethi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnirajan Chand, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jatakara Sethi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnirajan Chand in the 75th minute of play. Agnirajan Chand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatakara Sethi having to interfere. Jatakara Sethi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abhranaga Sudan went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Maldon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
